All companies, entities and organisations must annually review and/or confirm the particulars of their ultimate beneficial owners (‘UBOs’) via the online system of the Registrar of Companies.
The relevant period to proceed with the above mentioned actions starts from 01.10.2024 and ends on 31.12.2024. The particulars of the UBOs are to be updated and/or confirmed during this period each year. In case of no compliance with this requirement, fines are imposed that can reach up to Euros 20,000.
